This is a lovely secluded certificated site, which is set in beautiful countryside. The campsite
has an extremely small sign on the roadside that is easy to miss. It
consists of three acres with three fields surrounded by mature trees,
with a picnic bench under shady trees. There is electric hook-up
available (for campers on the CS) and also drinking water. There are no sanitary facilities.
There are many local walks around the site that are suitable for dogs on
a lead or just to take in the country air.
Places of interest in the area include St Ives, with its statue of
Oliver Cromwell. Huntingdon and Ely and the Cathedral.and Cambridge where
there is also a guided bus -way between St Ives and Cambridge running
every 10 mins. Bus passes are accepted". |
