Popped into the MOP, there is a bit more on than first thought.  Could you please update the website and include the links to the relevant websites,  &

Toilets are available and there is a small hall for us to use.  For those who went last year it has been fully refurbished and look very smart.  The museum has a tea room that is open during the day.

Friday night the model village will be open and illuminated with thousands of lights.
Sunday they are having a "Pirates of the Blackwater" day featuring nautical crafts and activities.
These attraction and admission the the museum will be free to enter for members on production of their C&CC membership card.

Maldon can be reached by bus and on Saturday it's the Maldon Town Regatta with Thames sailing barges and "old gaffers" on the quayside, sail boat racing, parade of sail and stalls in the marine park. Music and dancing at the Queens head on the Quay.
Maldon has several museums and the Moot Hall is worth a visit.

For more energetic you can walk to Maldon along the tidal river bank and return via the canal tow path.

Site to open at 14.00 Friday and close at 16.00 Sunday to take advantage of the activities.
